Watercolor painting done in plein air fashion at the Montage Resort in Laguna Beach on October 9th 2015. Again, it was started at the resort and completed in the studio. I am finally beginning to enjoy the plein air experience. It was very challenging when I did my first one, not posted yet.

It's time for me to add new paintings, which have been waiting in my closet, because I've been too busy/lazy to post. Most of these are inspired from scenes from my travels in India and other places, with the exception of the Benaras ghats. Well, without further ado, here I go.

Door at Mission San Juan Capistrano

Plein air, watercolor
Door at Mission San Juan Capistrano

Catching up by posting some of the water color paintings shown at Ganesh Utsav.

Mission at San Juan Capistrano

This watercolor painting was done in plein air fashion at the mission in San Juan Capistrano. Although it was a very warm day, I still enjoyed the experience of doing a plein air painting.
Just noticed that I did not take the full image with my iPhone. The fountain should have been fully shown. I will leave it as is fo now because this is what a framed painting may look like.
